All content, design, code, and branding of Terra Obscura — including the name, logo, visual style, and game mechanics — are the intellectual property of Thomas Andersen and are protected by copyright law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on Terra Obscura without explicit written permission.
Map tiles are provided by Esri and are subject to their own terms of use.
You may add pins and labels to your personal map. You are solely responsible for the content of these pins. You agree not to use pin labels for offensive, illegal, or harmful content.
Your exploration data and pin data remain your own. We do not claim ownership of data you generate through normal use of the service.
Terra Obscura currently offers a free tier. Premium subscription features may be introduced in the future. If and when paid features are introduced:
Terra Obscura is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost.
We strongly recommend keeping your exploration data synced to a cloud account to avoid loss from browser cache clearing.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Thomas Andersen shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Terra Obscura.
Your use of Terra Obscura is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Norwegian courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
